A shorter version of the Aspire, the Venture keeps you cooler when you’re on the go. This soft and durable 1/4 crew fits snuggly just above the ankle with a reinforced top. From the deep contoured heel pocket, all the way down to the smooth seam across the toe, the extra plush full terry lined Venture stays comfy and always in shape, wash after wash and wear after wear.

Quality Materials. Sustainable Process.
Choosy. Meticulous. Uncompromising.When it comes to our materials and manufacturing, these all apply. We start with the highest quality materials, like organic cotton that is dyed with low-impact dyes. Our certified organic cotton is grown on farms in the Southern U.S. by farmers we actually know. After harvest, our cotton travels to the Carolinas where it is spun and dyed before arriving at our mill in Alabama.
We knit socks in very small batches at our family owned and operated mill. Our team of ten (including Mom and Dad) run the manufacturing process from start to finish. And, because our entire operation is under one roof, we're able to constantly monitor quality through each step of the process, minimize waste and deliver a stellar product. We do it all because we know a better process makes a better sock.
We like to keep it all close to home. Our packaging, labels and marketing materials are printed within a small radius of our mill in Alabama and Georgia.
Giving and Recycling. Our irregular socks are donated to homelessness shelters and community organizations in Alabama.
We have some socks that are not fit for donations. These, along with any manufacturing waste, are repurposed or recycled. When recycled, these are transformed into fiber used for carpet padding in the automotive industry.

Your zkano’s should last a long time. Here’s a few things we suggest to help them reach their intended lifespan.
We highly recommend sticking to our washing instructions for our organic cotton and merino wool socks.
Machine wash cold water
Wash inside out for best results
Tumble dry on low heat
Do not bleach
Do not iron or dry clean

How to reduce pilling
Pilling with cotton is normal, especially in products made with a high combed cotton content, such as our socks. To reduce this, we recommend a few easy steps. This is good advice for our wool socks as well.
Wash separately. Do not wash your socks with towels or other rough items (for example, zippers) that will agitate the soft fibers in the wash cycle.
Turn inside out to wash and dry.
Placing your socks in a mesh laundry bag will also help with this.
Bleaching is a no.
Never (ever) bleach your socks, y’all- even if they are solid white. Using bleach on cotton or wool socks will cause the fibers to break down, resulting in holes in your socks.
Drying
To keep your socks feeling soft and to avoid unintended shrinkage over time, do not dry them in a hot dryer.
Using a low temperature setting in the dryer is best for your socks.
Do not over dry them. This will reduce their softness and zap them of their vibrant colors over time.
Though it’s not necessary, our favorite way is line drying, especially our no show and anklet styles. This helps prevent pilling too.
Don’t wear outside without shoes
Natural fibers, such as cotton and wool, will not hold up to being worn on rough outdoor surfaces.
Keep nails trimmed
This will keep those annoying holes from forming in the toe of the socks.

All Orders placed after 8am Central time on Friday will likely ship on Monday. We do not ship orders over the weekend.
Orders that qualify for free shipping typically ship via USPS. If you do not want to use USPS, you can upgrade to another shipping option for additional cost at checkout.
Shipping rates are calculated by weight and the carrier & service selected at checkout.
All orders are processed Monday - Friday and ship from our mill in 1-2 business days. We strive to ship your order the same day it was placed or the next business day.
Some order processing and delivery times may vary during the month of December.

Returns
We are happy to return any full price item that is unworn (not tried on the foot), unwashed and returned to us within 15 days from time of original receipt. Socks must be returned to us in the condition they were received, with labels fully intact.
Socks are a base layer and due to the nature of feet, we cannot sell returned socks that have been tried on. If you have any concerns about sizing, please reach out to us before removing your socks from their original packaging, we would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Please email us within 15 days of receiving your order and we will issue a Return Authorization. Include the original packing slip or your full name and order number with your shipment so that we can process your refund quickly.
We are unable to offer free shipping on returns.
Should you wish to have a shipping label emailed to you, we are happy to do so. If our shipping label is used, we will deduct a $5.00 shipping charge from your refund amount.
The original shipping charge and return shipping fees are non refundable.
Sale items are final and not returnable.
Exchanges are not available at this time.
If the return meets the above requirements, we will refund your account within seven days of receipt of the returned items; you will be notified by email once your refund is issued. Please note that it can take up to seven additional days for the refund to appear on your account.
We reserve the right to reject any returns that do not meet these requirements. If your return is not accepted, it will be sent back at the customer's expense and a refund will not be issued.

My zkano socks are my most durable socks. It's been hard for me to find organic cotton socks that don't spring holes very quickly. I have had lots of "foot issues" over the years so in retirement I wear my structured athletic shoes with personalized insoles most days. My zkano socks have stood up to that level of wear the best! In addition they are comfortable and cushion the "right parts" of my feet.
When I went searching for cotton, pre-shrunk, quality built socks, these and one other met the description online. But, after trying them, I am very happy to say, these were the right choice: very soft, very well built seams, very nice form fit (great for my boot fit), neither leaves my feet cold or hot.
Upon opening the package, they are the best socks I ever had; very thick and comfortable. Just as good: the material is perfect cotton made in the USA of a good price.
I recently made the switch from traditional synthetic socks to organic cotton. I did a lot of research before choosing Zanko. I’ve had these socks for a couple months and really feel the cost is well worth the quality, durability, feel, and intangible peace of mind knowing it’s made in the US, by local community members. I’ve been looking for a while to find organic socks. I wanted some that are more durable and thick, for working out. These socks are perfect, and I’m so glad they’re organic.
I love these mini crew socks..they are perfect for the spring, summer and fall. They are tall enough to protect against mosquito bites and comfortable all of the time. They are well cushioned and feel great on the feet. And American made makes them so much better!
I read about Gina and her parents in the book American Flannel. I loved the fact that the entire process was completely American made. I bought 2 three packs and I absolutely love them. Keep up the great work. Oh and they hold up way better than the socks that I had been buying from Wal-Mart

Part of my first order but surely not my last.
Right out of the box I could tell the difference between these and my commercial socks. These are superb quality, super soft and extremely comfortable to wear.
It’s so hard to find 100% cotton anything anymore, let alone socks. Commercial socks with cheap materials are too scratchy. Not these. These are worth the price if you want all day comfort with an upscale feel and quality not found at the store.
These socks are my favorite for walking around the house, doing errands, hiking, etc. Not a lot of cushion, but just enough. I hope they make these in more colors someday!
Bought these for my son now this is all he will wear. Absolutely loves them. Very comfortable and wear well. I also like the idea that they are made in the USA.
These socks are really comfortable! Plus it's SO hard to find any that are 100% cotton, not to mention made in the USA. I did think they would come up a tad bit higher (they're basically anklets) but I'm a fan.

I bought my first Zkano socks last winter - I bought the wrong size but they still were ok to wear. Once summer came I bought the mini crews in the right size and am very happy with them. They get washed and dryer a lot and I wear a pair of them everyday- many days I wear them for 12-15 hours. They are thick and made of quality. One cannot find a better made sock in my opinion.
I didn’t read the description carefully enough. The socks do provide cushion, but no support. They feel more like a slipper than an athletic sock. My mistake in choosing this style, but they are very nicely made.
Never had socks fit my feet with such comfort. I am hooked now forever! You simply cannot believe how different your feet feel in your shoes until you try these socks for yourself.
I don't normally pay what I consider to be overpriced for socks.. but I am SOOO glad I did.. the construction of the sock is more than I could ever ask for.
