The Ridge is made for the strong athletic type with a softer side. Sitting comfortably just below the ankle, this durable sock flies under the radar while its terry lined sole adds ample cushion. A specially designed heel tab and custom y-gore construction work together to prevent slipping and keeps this sock snug for the best possible performance and fit.

Quality Materials. Sustainable Process.
Choosy. Meticulous. Uncompromising.When it comes to our materials and manufacturing, these all apply. We start with the highest quality materials, like organic cotton that is dyed with low-impact dyes. Our certified organic cotton is grown on farms in the Southern U.S. by farmers we actually know. After harvest, our cotton travels to the Carolinas where it is spun and dyed before arriving at our mill in Alabama.
We knit socks in very small batches at our family owned and operated mill. Our team of ten (including Mom and Dad) run the manufacturing process from start to finish. And, because our entire operation is under one roof, we're able to constantly monitor quality through each step of the process, minimize waste and deliver a stellar product. We do it all because we know a better process makes a better sock.
We like to keep it all close to home. Our packaging, labels and marketing materials are printed within a small radius of our mill in Alabama and Georgia.
Giving and Recycling. Our irregular socks are donated to homelessness shelters and community organizations in Alabama.
We have some socks that are not fit for donations. These, along with any manufacturing waste, are repurposed or recycled. When recycled, these are transformed into fiber used for carpet padding in the automotive industry.

Your zkano’s should last a long time. Here’s a few things we suggest to help them reach their intended lifespan.
We highly recommend sticking to our washing instructions for our organic cotton and merino wool socks.
Machine wash cold water
Wash inside out for best results
Tumble dry on low heat
Do not bleach
Do not iron or dry clean

How to reduce pilling
Pilling with cotton is normal, especially in products made with a high combed cotton content, such as our socks. To reduce this, we recommend a few easy steps. This is good advice for our wool socks as well.
Wash separately. Do not wash your socks with towels or other rough items (for example, zippers) that will agitate the soft fibers in the wash cycle.
Turn inside out to wash and dry.
Placing your socks in a mesh laundry bag will also help with this.
Bleaching is a no.
Never (ever) bleach your socks, y’all- even if they are solid white. Using bleach on cotton or wool socks will cause the fibers to break down, resulting in holes in your socks.
Drying
To keep your socks feeling soft and to avoid unintended shrinkage over time, do not dry them in a hot dryer.
Using a low temperature setting in the dryer is best for your socks.
Do not over dry them. This will reduce their softness and zap them of their vibrant colors over time.
Though it’s not necessary, our favorite way is line drying, especially our no show and anklet styles. This helps prevent pilling too.
Don’t wear outside without shoes
Natural fibers, such as cotton and wool, will not hold up to being worn on rough outdoor surfaces.
Keep nails trimmed
This will keep those annoying holes from forming in the toe of the socks.

All Orders placed after 8am Central time on Friday will likely ship on Monday. We do not ship orders over the weekend.
Orders that qualify for free shipping typically ship via USPS. If you do not want to use USPS, you can upgrade to another shipping option for additional cost at checkout.
Shipping rates are calculated by weight and the carrier & service selected at checkout.
All orders are processed Monday - Friday and ship from our mill in 1-2 business days. We strive to ship your order the same day it was placed or the next business day.
Some order processing and delivery times may vary during the month of December.

Returns
We are happy to return any full price item that is unworn (not tried on the foot), unwashed and returned to us within 15 days from time of original receipt. Socks must be returned to us in the condition they were received, with labels fully intact.
Socks are a base layer and due to the nature of feet, we cannot sell returned socks that have been tried on. If you have any concerns about sizing, please reach out to us before removing your socks from their original packaging, we would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Please email us within 15 days of receiving your order and we will issue a Return Authorization. Include the original packing slip or your full name and order number with your shipment so that we can process your refund quickly.
We are unable to offer free shipping on returns.
Should you wish to have a shipping label emailed to you, we are happy to do so. If our shipping label is used, we will deduct a $5.00 shipping charge from your refund amount.
The original shipping charge and return shipping fees are non refundable.
Sale items are final and not returnable.
Exchanges are not available at this time.
If the return meets the above requirements, we will refund your account within seven days of receipt of the returned items; you will be notified by email once your refund is issued. Please note that it can take up to seven additional days for the refund to appear on your account.
We reserve the right to reject any returns that do not meet these requirements. If your return is not accepted, it will be sent back at the customer's expense and a refund will not be issued.

The socks are very comfortable; my kids really like them. They keep your feet cool and don't make you sweat like the other socks I used to buy at Walmart. Zkano socks are more expensive, but they're worth it.
We will buy more of them, because my initial purchase was a pair of them just to check the quality first.
My son runs track, and I got these socks for him specifically for his training and races. I have a similar pair that I love, and he enjoys these. I highly recommend them.
Ridge Cushioned Organic Sock Low Rise Socks several in natural and for winter decided to try it in black. All of these socks make my feet feel great - they are soft and without chemicals that could cause a reaction. Enjoy wearing for my weekly workouts.
These are some of my favorite socks! My only criticism is that some styles were unavailable before Christmas, particularly men’s socks. My recommendation is that Zkano offer some equestrian prints for some cotton and wool boot socks.
Both my girls have large feet (they are tall), and they look forward every years to me gifting them zkano socks. The are great quality and have sizing for bigger feet. Win, win, win.

I love these low rise socks! They are cushioned and you feel like you are walking on a cloud, no really! I’ve washed them and they hold up perfectly. I wear footies all winter long in the house (we have heated floors) and I’m hoping they will last me all season before getting holes in them/wearing out.
I LOVE these socks! Not only can you feel good about American raised and made AND a small business, but also experience a quality sock! The perfect thickness and ankle height. I got a medium for my size 7 foot. Does slip off my foot when taking off tighter shoes, but the pros far outweigh my only con. THANKS ZKANO! Will be ordering again.
So these fit so well and provide great padding. I really thought the "ridge" or whatever it is around the ankle would keep them up, but alas... they slide down under my heel if I wear them with shoes. But, like the title says, it's a thing with my feet for whatever reason. EVERY pair of no show ankle socks like this I have ever had do the same thing - no matter what shoes I wear. The only thing I can think of is the way that my foot is shaped or something with the way that I walk. I gave these to my son and he has NO issues with them and loves them (which explains the 5 star rating even though I can't wear them).
Comfortable, fits well, great looking. I could not ask for more. Except to be made in the US, and, YES, these are made in the US with organic cotton. I'll be back.

These are the softest socks ever and they don't pill. I've had mine for a year now and they still look and feel great. Love that they are made locally too!
I love that these socks have an extra cushion at the top back. It helps keep them in place and keeps the back of my shoe from rubbing my ankle. The soles are also extra thick compared to the socks I can get at my local stores. I bought this sock in all three available colors, and I'm glad I did.
It’s hard to find 100% cotton socks so I’m glad zkano still makes them! Socks you get in walmart and other stores don’t have them. All they have is half cotton and half polyester which makes my shoes stink because they deflect sweat instead of absorbing it. Zkano socks are great!
Bought these for my niece after getting myself a few pairs. She preferred organic cotton and manufactured in the U.S.A. And like me, she had been disappointed buying every kind of sock on the market, trying to find ones that were cushioned, comfortable, durable, soft, U.S. grown organic cotton and Made in America. Needless to say, these ticked all the boxes. They don't slip down in the back and feel so good on your feet!

I’m very pleased with the ZKano no-show socks I ordered. I was looking specifically for a product that was 100% made in America, and a product that was of high quality. That’s what I got!
Purchased 1 year ago for my children and still lasting. Soft, cushion all around and feels great in their sneakers. Finally a sock that is durable, and well made using cotton. Has not frayed and no holes unlike the Hanes brand which gets worn out to quicky on the sole after repeated wear and wash. Would buy again but in white for myself.
I wish I could feel this way about everything I purchase! I could gush about all the wonderful business practices for days but this is supposed to be about the socks. I love love them. I work in a hospital so I wanted the no show type sock. Top brands that I won’t name develop worn holes too fast, ride under my heel or leave crazy amounts of fuzz in between my toes. Zkanos socks do non of these things!! I am a forever fan..of both the socks and the company.
