The Ridge is made for the strong athletic type with a softer side. Sitting comfortably just below the ankle, this durable sock flies under the radar while its full terry lined interior adds ample cushion. A specially designed heel tab and custom y-gore construction work together to prevent slipping and keeps this sock snug for the best possible performance and fit.

Quality Materials. Sustainable Process.
Choosy. Meticulous. Uncompromising.When it comes to our materials and manufacturing, these all apply. We start with the highest quality materials, like organic cotton that is dyed with low-impact dyes. Our certified organic cotton is grown on farms in the Southern U.S. by farmers we actually know. After harvest, our cotton travels to the Carolinas where it is spun and dyed before arriving at our mill in Alabama.
We knit socks in very small batches at our family owned and operated mill. Our team of ten (including Mom and Dad) run the manufacturing process from start to finish. And, because our entire operation is under one roof, we're able to constantly monitor quality through each step of the process, minimize waste and deliver a stellar product. We do it all because we know a better process makes a better sock.
We like to keep it all close to home. Our packaging, labels and marketing materials are printed within a small radius of our mill in Alabama and Georgia.
Giving and Recycling. Our irregular socks are donated to homelessness shelters and community organizations in Alabama.
We have some socks that are not fit for donations. These, along with any manufacturing waste, are repurposed or recycled. When recycled, these are transformed into fiber used for carpet padding in the automotive industry.

Your zkano’s should last a long time. Here’s a few things we suggest to help them reach their intended lifespan.
We highly recommend sticking to our washing instructions for our organic cotton and merino wool socks.
Machine wash cold water
Wash inside out for best results
Tumble dry on low heat
Do not bleach
Do not iron or dry clean

How to reduce pilling
Pilling with cotton is normal, especially in products made with a high combed cotton content, such as our socks. To reduce this, we recommend a few easy steps. This is good advice for our wool socks as well.
Wash separately. Do not wash your socks with towels or other rough items (for example, zippers) that will agitate the soft fibers in the wash cycle.
Turn inside out to wash and dry.
Placing your socks in a mesh laundry bag will also help with this.
Bleaching is a no.
Never (ever) bleach your socks, y’all- even if they are solid white. Using bleach on cotton or wool socks will cause the fibers to break down, resulting in holes in your socks.
Drying
To keep your socks feeling soft and to avoid unintended shrinkage over time, do not dry them in a hot dryer.
Using a low temperature setting in the dryer is best for your socks.
Do not over dry them. This will reduce their softness and zap them of their vibrant colors over time.
Though it’s not necessary, our favorite way is line drying, especially our no show and anklet styles. This helps prevent pilling too.
Don’t wear outside without shoes
Natural fibers, such as cotton and wool, will not hold up to being worn on rough outdoor surfaces.
Keep nails trimmed
This will keep those annoying holes from forming in the toe of the socks.

All Orders placed after 8am Central time on Friday will likely ship on Monday. We do not ship orders over the weekend.
Orders that qualify for free shipping typically ship via USPS. If you do not want to use USPS, you can upgrade to another shipping option for additional cost at checkout.
Shipping rates are calculated by weight and the carrier & service selected at checkout.
All orders are processed Monday - Friday and ship from our mill in 1-2 business days. We strive to ship your order the same day it was placed or the next business day.
Some order processing and delivery times may vary during the month of December.

Returns
We are happy to return any full price item that is unworn (not tried on the foot), unwashed and returned to us within 15 days from time of original receipt. Socks must be returned to us in the condition they were received, with labels fully intact.
Socks are a base layer and due to the nature of feet, we cannot sell returned socks that have been tried on. If you have any concerns about sizing, please reach out to us before removing your socks from their original packaging, we would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Please email us within 15 days of receiving your order and we will issue a Return Authorization. Include the original packing slip or your full name and order number with your shipment so that we can process your refund quickly.
We are unable to offer free shipping on returns.
Should you wish to have a shipping label emailed to you, we are happy to do so. If our shipping label is used, we will deduct a $5.00 shipping charge from your refund amount.
The original shipping charge and return shipping fees are non refundable.
Sale items are final and not returnable.
Exchanges are not available at this time.
If the return meets the above requirements, we will refund your account within seven days of receipt of the returned items; you will be notified by email once your refund is issued. Please note that it can take up to seven additional days for the refund to appear on your account.
We reserve the right to reject any returns that do not meet these requirements. If your return is not accepted, it will be sent back at the customer's expense and a refund will not be issued.
We do not take responsibility for any items lost during the return shipping.

I bought socks for my husband. Thought I’d check k it out and loved the Buy American label.
He loves ‘em. Soft but sturdy. Fit is great. He wears them for a mean game of tennis! I’ll be buying more for the family.
I’m 44 and never knew what I was missing out on… until now. I had no idea what a good pair of socks felt like. I’m a teacher and these things make even my worn out shoes feel good.
These are the best socks EVER! I have tried so many of this type of sock that eventually I gave up. They would either slip down or rub against my heel or get too hot - too many issues to count. Then I found a pair of these socks in my sock drawer and remembered that I had purchased them a while back. I put them on, wore them all day, walk home and only remembered that I had them on when I took off my sneakers. TRULY AMAZING. Not one single issue. I ordered 3 more immediately and will be ordering more this fall when I order other socks from Zanko. Love love love your socks, customer service individuals and your small company.
The sock these replaced were also zkano socks I bought in 2020 or 21. 5 years old!! And they are my daily socks! Amazing, right!? And, really, the only thing wrong with them is that the soles are filthy looking (even though they are clean) cause I walk around in stocking feet …even outside. I’m a lousy owner. These are the best socks ever!!
These are great socks! I’ve worn them for a few years, and are my primary socks. I especially like the tab in the back, so the socks stay in place. I do wish the seams were none existent especially for when I worked out my toes get irritated. Zkano please consider a thinner organic cotton sock for summer or for working out that has padded bottoms, and no seams. I appreciate American cotton and made!

Great socks love these. I literally threw out all of my Nike socks the second that these arrived. No more polyester and forever chemicals. Now I’ve got my organic socks and I’m very happy.
I ordered the low rise sock because I wanted an organic cotton that would let my feet breathe. Same with the ankle high version. They both did the job! The low rise did NOT slip into my shoes as I wore them.
These socks are really well made. They are thick and plush. I wear them to work most days with my Brooks and they make my shoes feel even more comfy. And I love that they use organic cotton and are a small business!😍
I love these!! They hug your feet so they stay on. Some of the short ones slip off so easy but these perfectly stay in place and are so cushy and comfy!

These high quality socks are the best on the market. They are much softer and more durable than their similar counterparts at Costco. Over the last 6 months, they have held up considerably better than all my other socks.
Zkano socks are absolutely the best!. Since buying my first pair years ago, I have not bought another brand of socks because of their durability and they are also very pretty. I have several pair of the cushioned organic cotton no show socks. I have worn them for several years. I love Zkano Ridge socks. I've had some pairs for several months. I recently purchased some new pairs and wore them while doing long walking tours around a couple of European cities. 15+ miles with no breakdown in the cushioning, no toe bunching, or any discomfort. Great, great socks!
I love giving Zkano socks as gifts. They are practical, made in USA, and a natural product. I’m usually frugal but I make an exception for quality, practical item and supporting USA small company( family owned).
I already had 3 pairs in white and 6 in black. So knew the quality. I live the fit, the softness and that they do not have seams the cut into my feet. A bit expensive, but you have to treat yourself every now and then.
